DELETE YOUR INSTAGRAM DATA
Last updated 2 November 2026
When you comment a keyword on a post by @cratewire, or send @cratewire a message, we keep a little of that conversation so we can answer you. Here is what it is, how long it stays, and how to have it deleted.
What we keep
- Your Instagram username and account identifier
- The text of your comment, or of the messages you send us
- The replies and messages we sent you
- Whether you tapped the button in our message and opened the link
How long we keep it
Up to 90 days. After that it is deleted automatically, whether or not you ask.
How to have it deleted
Ask us either way. We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
Other data we may hold
Your CrateWire account. Delete it at any time from your account settings; that removes your account and everything in it.
Your DJ profile. If CrateWire shows tracks from your public posts, you can ask us to remove your profile. That is a separate request.
The full detail is in section 17 of our Privacy Policy.
