- Can any tool identify an unreleased ID in a DJ set?
- Not by sound. Audio recognition matches a fingerprint against released recordings, and an unreleased track, a dubplate or a DJ's own edit has nothing to match. What names those tracks is text and people: the DJ's own description, a timestamped comment, a listener who knows it. Tools that read text or pass gaps to listeners have a route in; a pure audio match does not.
